'Kugutsu' - An Evening Of Japanese Puppetry at the Little Angel Theatre

Direct from Japan to attend Mr Punch’s 350th birthday celebrations, two masters of kugutsu – Shiro Ito and Eimei Katami – will be appearing at the Little Angel Theatre in London on Thursday, 10 May, to present an evening of puppetry, including a Japanese-style Punch and Judy show.

Vicky Tuke, a current Daiwa Scholar, participated in the first high-profile 'Young Strategists Forum', 2-6 March 2012

From March 2-6 2012, Dr Vicky Tuke (Daiwa Scholar 2011) participated in the first ‘Young Strategists Forum’, organised by the German Marshall Fund of the United States and Sasakawa Peace Foundation, Japan. The programme brought together policymakers, academics, journalists and military officers between the ages of 25 and 39.
