Daiwa Scholarships 2018 – The deadline for applying is Thursday 7 December 2017.

Applicants are also requested to send three confidential references (please make sure that each reference letter is given to you sealed in an envelope and ask the referee to sign across the seal of the envelope) to the Foundation by the deadline. The Foundation cannot obtain references on applicants’ behalf. They are an essential part of the application process.

If you are a student or a recent graduate,  then your references should come from your academic tutors. If you graduated some years ago or have relevant professional experience, then it is advisable to obtain a reference from your supervisor or line manager in addition to at least one or two (preferable) academic reference. Your referees should not include relatives or purely personal friends. The references are a vital part of the application and should come from people who know you and your work in an official capacity.

The application for the Daiwa Scholarships 2018 will be uploaded in August 2017.

Please post the reference letters (all together in one envelope preferably) to:

Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation (Scholarships)
13/14 Cornwall Terrace
London NW1 4QP
